Berry L. Ross
Berry L. Ross, is an enrolled member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, and is
currently serving his first term on the Tribal Council.
Mr. Ross received a Welding Technology certificate from
Jeff Davis Community College (JDCC) in 1991. He is currently working towards
his Bachelor of Business Administration degree at JDCC. While at JDCC in 1991
Ross was President of the Honor Society, and is currently on the Dean's list.
Berry has overcome many adversities in his life from being
challenged by a heart medical condition from birth, to being hurt working in the
oil fields. Through these adversities one thing was made clear to him; he wanted
to give back to his community and to serve his People. With his interests in the areas
of political and governmental business he plans to do all he can for the betterment
of the Tribe.
Born in Pasadena, Texas, Berry was raised in the Poarch
Community. Berry is the son of Gene and Marilyn Ross. He and his wife Melissa
reside in the Poarch community with their two sons.
